Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data KreativeTab collects through this website and when you work with us, why we use it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

KreativeTab, Derby, UK, is the controller of your personal data. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email hello@kreativetab.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form or email us. We collect what you send: your name, email address and message, plus your phone number and a preferred time for a call if you choose to add them.

When you become a client. We keep the details needed to run your project and invoice you, such as your name, business name, contact details, project files and payment records.

When you browse the site. Our hosting provider automatically records technical data for each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.

We do not ask for special category data. Please do not send it through the contact form.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run analytics or ad tools on it. We have no cookie banner because we do not set non-essential cookies.

A few things are loaded from other services so the site works and looks right. They receive your IP address when your browser requests them:

  • fonts from Google Fonts (Google);
  • two small scripts from the jsDelivr content delivery network;
  • if a project page includes a video, it is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode or from Vimeo.

The site also installs a service worker, which stores copies of site files on your device so pages load faster. It is not used to track you.

How and why we use your data

  • Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
  • Delivering your project, invoicing and support: performance of a contract.
  • Keeping accounting and tax records: legal obligation.
  • Hosting the site and keeping it secure: legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision-making, or send marketing emails without your consent.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers (processors) who handle data only on our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc. hosts this website and keeps request logs.
  • Web3Forms, if the contact form is set up to send through it, receives your form submission and forwards it to our inbox.
  • Our email provider stores the emails you send us.

We may also share data with professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some providers, including Vercel, may process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. When this happens we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK-US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.
  • Hosting logs: kept by Vercel for a limited period under its own retention settings.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email hello@kreativetab.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
